Paid Environmental Science Program for Oakland Teens
Open to teens ages 13-18 who are current residents of Oakland
Participants who complete the program receive a $500 stipend
Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
October 12 – December 14 (no meeting November 30)
Location: Temescal Branch of the Oakland Public Library, 5205 Telegraph Ave
- Conduct hands on science
- Develop leadership skills
- Perform field work
- Learn about environmental justice
- Create & enact an action plan
- Help your community
